Greetings:

As you may be aware, talk of building an additional sheet of ice has been a topic of discussion within our association for many years.

We have done our utmost to prepare for the day when construction would begin.  We are pleased to announce that the time for active fundraising has arrived.  Your gift will allow present and future hockey players in the Princeton, Milaca and surrounding areas to develop and grow.  Your contribution will allow our players and members to make a difference in our community and will help the association accomplish its goal to add an additional sheet of ice.

Our hope is that your dream of a second sheet of ice can become a reality sooner, rather than later.  Realizing the ultimate goal in a timely manner will hinge on the participation of the entire Princeton Youth Hockey Association. We feel that 100% participation by the association membership is an essential component to kick off our fundraising efforts.

Please review the enclosed materials. Your contribution to the Princeton Youth Hockey Association Building Fund will be greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions regarding this project please contact one of us or attend an upcoming board meeting. Thank you for your consideration.

We are working with the City of Princeton to create a multi-purpose arena that would function as a focal point for youth programming, augment current youth recreational activity, and serve as a recreation anchor in the City of Princeton and surrounding communities.  The city is looking for a skate park site for skateboarding.  As members, we can help.

Our fundraising campaign has a goal of $1,000,000.  The proceeds will be used to build a multi-purpose arena.  We anticipate the total cost of the project to be $2,500,000 to $3,000,000.  We do not have to wait to begin.  We can begin and raise funds at the same time.

We ask for your financial support to help begin our effort towards realizing our dream of providing a tremendous facility that will benefit everyone in our community.  Your generosity will help improve and strengthen the quest for a recreational resource for the youth of our community for many years to come.
