Looking for a way to fulfill your required volunteer hours?

The board is looking to find a few association members who may have an interest or some experience in one of the following four areas: recruiting, arena fundraising, advertising/sales and grant writing.

These areas have been identified as important components to the success of our association, and at this time our board is unable to give the appropriate amount of focus on these areas.

Therefore, the board is seeking non-board members to take on these positions for the remainder of this season and next season.  If you decide to take a role and you fulfill the position requirements you will have completed your required volunteer hours.

Here are the areas:

Recruiting ~ Looking for one or two people to take over recruiting and focus on positively promoting hockey throughout the community.  Additional information can be found on the volunteer page of the website.

Arena fundraising ~ Seeking two to three people to take over the planning and execution of various fundraising events that benefit the arena. This does not include the individual fundraising efforts.  Additional information can be found on the volunteer page of the website.

Advertising/sales ~ Tracy Carlson is working on selling advertising throughout the arena.  The board is looking for someone to partner with Tracy and assist in calling or stopping by local businesses to get them to advertise with us.  Information will be provided regarding the benefits of advertising with us along with a list of companies to contact.

Grant writing ~ There are several grants available to both non-profits and youth sports organizations.  We are looking for someone to research and apply for these grants.

If you have any questions or you are interested in one or more of the above positions, please contact any board member.
