Hockey Alumni and Hockey Grama’s, Bonni Cook and Linda Alexander have wanted to plant perennial gardens by the South side entrances for a long time. With the help of Jessica Lupkes and her High School Horticulture Class it happened! The class designed, cleaned up and planted a number of Perennials supplied by Nelson Nursery of Zimmerman. This area is now a Memorial Garden and a plaque will be made honoring A Marine, A Goalie and A Hockey Mom —- Sgt Bryan Opskar, Brian Alexander and Karen Bromberg, three wonderful souls who left us way too soon! An area on the other side of the old entrance is cleaned up and eventually will be another Memorial Garden. Hanging inside above the entrance of the old Arena there are Cases with Jerseys and Memorabilia of both Bryan and Brian!
