Open Positions

PYHA is currently looking to fill the open positions below. These positions are NOT PYHA board member positions. All of the positions below would fulfill your DIBS hours for the season. These positions report directly to the PYHA Board of Directors. Please review the job descriptions below and email brittany.stearns@princetonyouthhockey.com if you are interested in filling any of the positions.

Unpaid Positions

  • Gamesheet Coordinator
    • Responsible for updating and maintaining iPads with gamesheet.
    • Train volunteers how to use the software.
    • Verify schedule in gamesheet is accurate with D10 schedule.
    • Update Gamesheet league codes for preseason jamborees, regular season games and any hosted tournaments (Districts, Regions or State)
    • Collaborate with D10 Gamesheet Coordinator to troubleshoot and resolve any Gamesheet issues timely
    • Distribute Gamesheet team invitation codes to Team Managers
  • Referee Coordinator
    • Collaborate with financial manager to ensure youth referees are paid
    • Schedule and coordinate all youth refs for PYHA
  • Girls Coordinator
    • In partnership with the BBL Girls coordinator, oversight of 10U and 12U teams, assist with 8U team and knowledge of 15U options
    • Sit on PBBL Co-Op committee
    • Collaborate with Girls high school program
    • Actively promote girls hockey, recruit and retain girls within the co-op community
    • Attend PYHA and BBL Board Meetings and PBBL Co-Op Committee meetings
    • Attend D10 Girls Coordinator meetings
    • Collaborate with HDC and assist with with tryout or evaluation process if needed and coach selection
    • Ensure compliance with co-op agreement, D10, MN Hockey and USA Hockey requirements
  • Volunteer Coordinator
    • Responsible for maintaining and setting all the DIBS information
    • Responsible for assigning Extra Credit DIBS to families
    • Responsible for tracking incomplete DIBS for invoicing at the end of the season
